Our Response to the Bomb Threat
August 26, 2020 1:48 PM ｜ Disaster Prevention
There have been a spate of bomb threats against municipalities in Japan and the police has informed us that a bomb threat was also made against Tsukuba City Hall at 4:33 p.m. on August 27.
In response to this, in close cooperation with the police, Tsukuba City will carry out inspections of the City Hall and search for suspicious objects today, August 26 and tomorrow, August 27. If we do not find any problem in the inspection, we will open the City Hall and will perform operations as usual after taking thorough safety measures.
