To Every Person Returning to Japan from Overseas Travel

Regarding Measures to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19
Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare requires any person returning to Japan from overseas to self-isolate for 14 days at a location (such as at their own residence) designated by the quarantine station chief. Also, please be aware that PCR tests are being conducted on all persons who have in the last 14 days spent time in an "Area Subject to Entry Restrictions" based on the Immigration Control Law.

If the following applies to you, please contact the Consultation Center (Only for those staying in Ibaraki Prefecture).
・Strong lethargy (physical fatigue/weariness), shortness of breath (difficulty breathing), or a high-fever.
・Anybody with a potentially severe illness (*) who has experienced relatively mild symptoms of a cold such as a fever or coughing
*elderly people, people with comorbidities: diabetes, heart failure, respiratory illness (COPD etc.), anybody receiving dialysis treatment, those with suppressed immunity or those taking anti-cancer drugs.
・Apart from the above, persons experiencing sustained relatively mild symptoms of a cold such as a fever or coughing.
Please contact the Consultation Center if your symptoms have continued for 4 or more days. Symptoms can differ greatly between individuals, so please do not hesitate to contact the Consultation Center if you experience any strong symptoms. The same applies for anyone who needs to continually take medicine for a fever.
