    Heavy rain, Strong wind and Thunder caused by Typhoon 13 will be
    hitting Ibaraki prefecture tonight to tomorrow morning.
    Please be aware of landslide disasters, flooding in lowlands and
    increase in river water.


Evacuation Shelter Information

    ※The following information was announced on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 17:30.

    Tsukuba city has prepared an evacuation shelter around Mt. Tsukuba area.
    Following are the list of shelters recently opened.
    1. Tsukuba Learning Center (Ho-jyo 1477-1)
    2. Working Woman's Home (Numata 40-2)
    3. Educational Counseling Center (Numata 40-2)
   This is not an forced evacuation, it is an voluntary evacuation notice.
    If you realize or experience something abnormal around your house or feel unsafe,
   please visit the shelter.
