Application for Afterschool Programme at Jido-kan

Jido-kan or Jido club is a safe and enjoyable place for primary school children whose parents/guardians cannot be at home afterschool hours. If you wish your child to attend this afterschool programme and fulfill the criteria, you may apply. The application deadline to enroll your child in April, 2017 is Friday, January 20, 2017. The guidelines and application forms are available in English at Children Services Division of City Hall or download from the bottom of this page.
-The child's parents/guardians cannot take care of him/her afterschool hours due to work, study, etc.
-The child can play with other children.
Please note that there are document screenings, and Grade 1-3 children have priority to be registered due to limited capacities of jido-kan/jido clubs.
Monthly Fee: 4,000 yen (2,000 yen per child for the younger siblings)
Jido-kan/jido clubs are open:
-from Monday to Friday: afterschool to 6:30 pm.
-Spring, summer, winter school holidays: 8:00 am - 6:30 pm
Closed on weekends, public holidays and December 29-January 3
Submit application forms and necessary documents to respective jido-kan/jido-club.
