FreeWi-Fi for temporary visitors (transient)

Tsukuba City offers Free Wi-Fi ID/Pass Card to temporary visitors (transient) from overseas, which can be used in areas with Hikari Station by NTT for 14 days. Tsukuba City welcomes and support tourists and visitors who attend international conferences in Tsukuba and promote to invite conventions.
Who can get a card?
Foreigners who visit Tsukuba for sightseeing, business, conferences and etc can be offered. (Transient only.)
How can I use the card?
Get a card at the places below. Your passport is required when you obtain. The card has an ID and a password. Set up your computer to be ready to access and use the internet in the Hikari Station areas. The card is effective for 14 days (336 hours) from the first day you accessed.
Where can I get a card?
-Tsukuba Information Booth inside TX Tsukuba Station (2-104 Azuma, Tsukuba-shi)
-Mt. Tsukuba Tourist Information Center (Tsukuba-san Kanko Annai-jo) (1222 Tsukuba, Tsukuba-shi)

How can I find Hikari Station areas? Look for the places with the stickers below. There are about 180 Hikari Station areas in Tsukuba City. Other than Tsukuba Information Booth and Mt.Tsukuba Tourist Information Center, Tsukuba Cable car/rope way stations, restaurants etc.
