Monthly allowances are available to a limited number of needy students in Tsukuba. Applicants must be attending (or planning to attend) a high school in Tsukuba during the 2004 school year. The students' family must have lived in Tsukuba for at least one year and there must be a clear need for the allowance. Furthermore, applicants must not be receiving any other scholarships. Application forms can be picked up at the General Affairs Division of the Board of Education at the Toyosato Branch Office (or online) and must be submitted by April 30.
