Held on the second Saturday/Sunday in May.
The International Exchange fair is held in May near the Tsukuba Center Building. Many of our city's international residents such as exchange students from the University of Tsukuba and trainees of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) co-operate to bring this event together. Every year you can buy food from all over the world. Folk dancing, singing and a variety of other performances and events take place for the purpose of increasing intercultural awareness. The Cultural Foundation is always looking for groups or individuals to perform or set up a booth to introduce some country's food and/or information.
