An Ombudsman is a person who is appointed to receive and investigate complaints. Tsukuba's Ombudsman exists to listen to claims against the city government, to investigate grievance claims from a neutral position, and to work towards a constructive resolution of any legitimate claims. If you have an opinion that you want to share with the city, please visit the department in charge of the area that concerns you. If you have a serious complaint about the way the government is handling something, consult with the Ombudsman.
